A Case of Pneumonia Treated with Shigyungbanha-tang in Stroke Patient

-Abstract-
In this paper, the authors reported one patient with pneumonia in stroke who
improved with the administration of herb drug. The patient was 82 years old female
who was broken out stroke at 18 January 1998. On the way of treatment of stroke, she
was broken out aspiration pneumonia, a complication of stroke, which was confirmed by
chest radiography. She was administrated Shigyungbanhatang without antibiotics because
of old age and early stage of pneumonia. After administration, the symptoms improved
and chest x-ray film showed no pneumonic finding.
Thus Shigyungbanhgtang is recommended for cases of pneumonia in stroke patient.
